This is a story told in just 20 words, about a lonely little girl who is left behind at the zoo.

She soons finds that she is at home there, befriends the animals and at last feels like she belongs.

But what happens when she is found by the zoo keepers, and will she ever find a family of her own?

The idea of only using one or two words per spread is to leave most of the action in the illustrations themselves, so that the reader can interpret the story differently each time it is read, encouraging imagination, observation and storytelling skills.

It was published in June 2011.
