Owl Diaries

My BEST-SELLING Owl Diaries series is part of Scholastic's early chapter book line called Branches, which is aimed at newly independent readers. It stars Eva, a creative, cheeky owlet who lives in Treetopolis nextdoor to her best friend Lucy Beakman.

"Bright and colorful digital illustrations, large type, frequent speech bubbles and a familiar story make this accessible to emerging readers....This series promises to fill a niche for [new readers.] Keep flapping, Eva!" -KIRKUS

Unicorn Diaries

Join Bo (short for Rainbow, obvs) Tinseltail in my new series for Scholastic on some crazy adventures in Sparklegrove forest with Bo's unicorn friends (who all have different magical powers) and a whole host of other magical creatures. Some unicorn facts; they sneeze glitter, sleep on a cloud and at Unicorn School have lessons on Horn Maintenence, Glitterology and Math.

I have written and illustrated several picture books loosely based on my own children (Just Because, Sometimes, Mr Super Poopy Pants, Missing Jack) All are told from Toby's point of view, often starring his sister Clemmie who had severe special needs. Whilst I hope that they are first and foremost fun, funny, sweet picture books, they also tackle or introduce larger themes from disability and hospital visits through to the arrival of a new sibling (my other child, Benjamin!), the death of a pet and  starting a new school in My Stinky New School.

I have also written a load of other random picture books about, amongst other things, Puppies driving construction vehicles (Dalmation on a Digger),  foxes being cute in the snow (Cub's First Winter), a girl who gets adopted (Zoo Girl), the last tiger left on earth (The Last Tiger) and a sparrow who insists on showing his naked butt (Naked Trevor) .
